A Message From Our Pastor
A warm hello from Sand Springs Methodist. This church is full of welcoming people that strive to be like Jesus.
This church is a place where we encourage everyone to find a place in the church where they feel called to serve. I will also say that if you find this to be your church home, and you want to launch a new ministry, I will support you fully so long as it is Biblical and rooted in love.
I believe that the Bible teaches us the power of God can change anyone’s life, and everyone is called to serve. Do not ignore the Holy Spirit! I pray that God continues to reveal Himself to you.

First Time Visiting?
What to Expect
We want your first visit to feel comfortable and welcoming. Here is a glimpse of what you will find when you walk through our doors.
Biblical Teaching
Every sermon is grounded in the Word of God. Expect messages that are honest, hopeful, and rooted in context — relevant to your everyday life, your struggles, and your questions.
Family Friendly
From nursery care for the littlest ones to youth programs for teens, every member of your family has a place here. Children are in worship partially, but dismissed to children's church before the sermon so parents can engage fully.
Community Focused
Faith was never meant to be lived alone. We are deeply invested in the Sand Springs community — from local outreach to small groups where real friendships are formed over scripture and life together.

— Psalm 119:105
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the primary authority in our lives. We believe that the scriptures are the infallible inspired Word of God. We do not compromise with culture. We believe in Holiness. We believe that the Power of God can change anyone. We believe that God forgives those who confess of their sin and earnestly repent. We believe that we are all broken, and that we all need what Jesus has to offer.
What is a Methodist?
The term Methodist was given to a group of Christians in the 1700's. Methodist was meant to be an insult to Christians who had “methods” in their spiritual disciplines, such as prayer, scripture reading, fasting and feeding the poor. This early group of Christians really believed in holiness, and they were really organized. Methodists don't believe in anything unusual. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in free will. We believe that the Bible teaches us we can be sanctified through the power and grace of God. The early Methodist's were very active in service and preaching. We try to live that way. We are not affiliated with political movements. We believe in the Kingdom of God.
